Newly released: The Writings of an English Sappho

The Writings of an English Sappho (Elizabeth Cooke Hoby Russell, 1540-1609), edited by Patricia Phillippy with translations from Greek and Latin by Jaime Goodrich, is now available.

Co-published by Iter and the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies, Victoria University in the University of Toronto, this is the fourteenth volume in The Other Voice in Early Modern Europe: The Toronto series (2009-; Margaret L. King and Albert Rabil, Jr., series editors, Elizabeth Hageman, series editor, English texts).
